According to health officials, Tim's Cascade Snacks, Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips Sweet Maui Onion and Hawaiian Sweet Maui Onion Rings have been recalled by the company owing to potential health risks.

On Wednesday, the U. S. Food and Drug Administration informed the Hawaii State Department of Health about the recall.

DoH will be touring retailers’ stores on Thursday to check if the recalled products have been removed from store shelves.

However, DoH has not come across any report of illnesses related to these recalled products so far.

Meanwhile, consumers have been advised by State health officials to make sure that the recalled snacks are not piling in their cabinets. The officials are asking people to throw them away or else return it to the store from where they were bought to prevent getting sick by them.

It is reported that the recalled products might contain salmonella.
