With the release of the sales figures for the main titles in the financial results of first quarter, Take-Two has reported a sale worth 15 million units in Grand Theft Auto IV and 3 million units in BioShock 2, since 2008.
According to the release, NBA 2K10 and 2K Play's Carnival Games franchise have dispatched 2 million units and 6 million units, since 2008, respectively.
"Our first quarter performance was driven by the market dominance of NBA 2K10, successful launch of Borderlands, growth of our digital business and continued strength of our catalog titles", said Ben Feder, Take-Two's CEO.
"We are building upon this success with the global launch of BioShock 2, and have a strong line up of triple-A titles from our diverse portfolio of proven brands planned for release this fiscal year. We will continue to ... maximize the value of our intellectual property by selectively engaging in strategic opportunities in emerging markets and new platforms", he added.
