On Friday, Riviera Beach will host a kick-off party for the Relay for Life race, an initiative of the American Cancer Society. The 18-hour long race is scheduled to take place on June 4-5 at the Dan Calloway Recreation Center.

During the kick-off party, interested relay teams can sing up to participate in the race.

The kick-off event on Friday will be celebrated from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at the Newcomb Hall, which is right next to the city marina.

The party will include a host of offerings, right from contests to entertainment.
