$36 Million in Suit Demanded by Former-Infinity Ward Heads

The details of Jason West and Vince Zampella's lawsuit, which they have slapped against their former employer Activision, have been laid bare in a press release, which came out this morning from their legal representation. But the official announcement did not contain some interesting details that were mentioned in the actual court filing, which have been shared by the developers' attorneys with some sources.

"This lawsuit is solely and regrettably the result of the astonishing arrogance and unbridled greed of defendant Activision", the suit starts, before it gets to all the accusations at the heart of the dispute.

The developers, it has been revealed, are accusing Activision of starting a false investigation into the activities of the duo, simply because the company wanted to fire them and evade all their contractual obligations, as well as all the royalty payments which were set to start on March 31.

The developers have shared that when asked, Activision refused to tell them what they are being investigated for "insisting instead in Orwellian fashion that West and Zampella 'already have a clear understanding of what they have or have not done'".

West and Zampella are now demanding $36 Million in damages, future royalties and legal fees, in addition to rights over some of Activision's most popular titles.
