Although there has been enough opposition creeping up on the austerity measures adopted by the Greek Government, yet, the Government's ratings have maintained to be stable till now.
Suffering pressures from EU, the Greek Government announced a 4.8bn cut in wages, on Wednesday.
According to a survey conducted by Public Issue for Skai TV, around 3/4th of the total number of people being surveyed expressed disagreement with the hike in the fuel prices and taxes.
Many rating agencies and the EU have raised the implementation of the austerity measures as the key factor in determining the credibility of the Greek government.
So far, the political conditions in Greece, which is a highly volatile country, have been stable.
Out of the two main opinion polls conducted, one found the people appreciating the Government's recent take and the other saw 62% people expressing a doubt in the implementation of the measures.
GSEE union may bring out a protest against the Government's move.
Around 53% of the people in Greece think that the European Central Bank should provide a financial support to the Government, while 12% think that IMF should do so.
