Authorities Urge Smokers to Kick the Butt

Next week is once again the National No Smoking Day, and NHS Worcestershire is, as a part of a major drive, once again busy encouraging smokers in Malvern to make an extra effort and kick the harmful habit once and for all.

Ahead of the day, which is scheduled for Wednesday, March 10, local health experts are repeatedly reminding smokers that quitting the habit now have a real and immediate benefit on both their health and wealth.

All those who want to give up the habit can turn to their GPs for advice and required treatment. In addition, there are also over a dozen venues set up across Malvern that can offer a "specialist smoking cessation service".

Anyone looking to kick the butt should try and, in the first instance, place a call to the Worcestershire helpline on 01905 733757 or 0800 917 5602. Alternatively, an email can be sent in at stop.smoking@worcestershire.nhs.uk.
