After all the interesting and baffling new content that has come out from Portal over the past few days, it's not a very surprising discovery that Portal 2 is, actually, a real game that is in the works.

Although Valve itself has been much quite about the new game, there are some sources which are providing information on what the gamers should expect from Portal 2.

Reports are that the game will be inclusive of a co-op campaign, in addition to "two new player characters".

"Aperture Science returns for the people who are still alive", it has been shared. With the new characters, the game is bound to get more interesting and competitive.

Also, the new game will be a mix of the "serenely disturbing test areas Aperture Science laboratory". Sources are pegging that Portal 2 would be released on October 26, but Valve has refused to confirm or deny the speculation.

Till now, the only information that is official is that Portal 2 is due for release real soon, and fans are eagerly waiting for the other interesting details to be officially confirmed.
