A 29 year old female was arrested after Kelowna Royal Canadian Mounted Police discovered over 900 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. The plants were located in numerous rooms inside the Sallow Road home.

The police forced open the gate to a property in the 4400 block of Sallow Road just after midnight.

As of now, notices have been posted on the front door to prevent anyone from entering in the house until it has been fully inspected by the city of Kelowna.

The 29-year-old Kelowna woman was later released from custody, and is due to appear in Court at a later date, facing charges of production of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
