Facebook Games, All the Same
Facebook Games, All the Same

The never ending Facebook games tend to rob the players of their sense of achieving new levels and points.

With the time invested in playing the game, one is left wondering why he bothered to play the game to begin with.

Zynga's FarmVille, with over 83 Million active players, is currently the most popular game on Facebook. But the game in which one is supposed to just plant crops and trees turns into a compulsion thereby pointing to the fact that Facebook games lack competitive qualities. Players are required to advance through the levels and scores higher as compared to the players on the leaderboard. But while you gain access to new items and missions, making your way through the ranks, the game itself does not change.

The Level 5 or level 25 seem similar to level 100.

In the latest competitive move made by Microsoft to compete with Google's fans in Facebook, the company has decided to sign Farmville into MSN Games.

The ad-aired by Microsoft on FarmVille saying that players who became fans of Bing's page would receive three units of a virtual currency popularly known as Farm Cash, raised the Bing's fan base from 117,000 to over 564,000 in a mere day, which beats the 524000 Google fans.
