The fundraisers from the Marie Curie Cancer Care are all underway with their campaign for their annual fundraiser and they are eagerly spreading the word asking all the residents of Sheffield to wear a badge shaped like a daffodil and to paint the whole place yellow.
People are all asked to make a donation for the charity for a badge and the donation is said to go in for vital work with the cancer patients and also their families. But there is no proper information on what exactly will be done with the money that has been donated.
However, a small idea was given that the charity would try to put in more hours for free as it gives the patient a genuine chance to at least die with the satisfaction of being near family and friends and also within the comforts of their own home with people they love.
Volunteers are in demand to collect the cash tomorrow or even on March 27 which falls on a Saturday, and it is a significant fact that the daffodil has almost become the signature flower of the charity for the past few months.
