The two missing skiers finally made a call after they made their way to a campground and called to say they are OK, authorities informed.

The men went missing at Crystal Mountain ski resort near Mount Rainier National Park.

Pierce County sheriff's Deputy J. Sousley said, "They called Friday from a campground in the Ohanapecosh area, about 20 miles south of the resort."

They were missing and were reported overdue on Thursday night following which a search was conducted in which aircraft joined in at the Washington state for two missing men.

One of the missing Mielcarek's father said, "We had confidence in him, but we started to worry about the elements. How cold it was going to get, wolves, avalanches. We didn't sleep at all."

Mielcarek's parents informed that both were 27 and they had met at the University of Vermont, from where they graduated in 2005. The other missing Cameron, hailed from Pennsylvania while Mielcarek grew up in New York.

Mielcarek's mother stated that when he called up he just said that he has many blisters on his feet but was OK otherwise and he walked the entire night.
