Plans to Outsource NASA Programs to be Defended by President

Reports are that the White House is all set to launch a counter-attack to try and fend off the rapidly mounting congressional criticism of the Government's proposals to outsource the American manned space missions to the country's private sector.

While facing the bipartisan opposition on Capitol Hill, and lacking significant experience and success of such unprecedented space explorations among the largest of aerospace contractors, the authorities now hope to bring back momentum on the issue with a personal appeal from the US President Barack Obama.

As has been shared by the White House, the President would be detailing his plans for the space exploration program at a conference which is scheduled for April 15 in Florida. The event will be providing him with a forum to try and defend his planned cancellation of existing National Aeronautics and Space Administration programs which are intended to take the astronauts back to the moon and much deeper into the solar system.

The proposal to outsource many of NASA's current major manned explorations has managed to spark much criticism, opposition and controversy because of all the job losses that would happen as a result.
