Valve has been very quiet about the sequel to its much popular title Portal, to be released as Portal 2. Except for an official confirmation that the game is in the works, there have been no other details from the company's end, but various sources have been giving out information, and even more details about the title have emerged.
Reports say that Portal 2 take place over a hundred years after Portal, which will result in the Aperture Science labs looking like a "jungle". Despite the substantial shift in time, the star of the title will once again be Chell. GlaDOS is coming back as well. Even the personality cores that one had managed to destroy in the first game have come back, taking on different areas of the lab.
As far as the game play goes, physics will now have a bigger part in solving of puzzles. Also, there will be "reflection cubes" that will be utilized to solve laser-redirection puzzles.
Portal 2 will be reportedly be released for Xbox 360 and PC this fall, and there will also be a Mac version.
