For the forthcoming European launch of the much-awaited Final Fantasy XIII, the newest addition to the long-running Japanese role-playing game series, thousands of gamers in the UK will likely be in London.
Final Fantasy XIII - which has been developed and published by Square Enix for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles - is the most-recent addition to the well-like franchise; and will feature improved graphics and a much modified battle system for a multifarious chain of attacks.
With a large number of Final Fantasy aficionados probably costumed as warriors and wizards, the first 50 gamers in costumes who run the risk of being scoff at on the Tube will be awarded a free Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack - including `My Hands' song from Leona Lewis' second album `Echo'.
Among the hordes of eager Final Fantasy fans across London, the first ones to be actually able to fetch their copies of the popular game - which boasts global sales of more than 92 million - will be the ones present at the Oxford Street store of HMV.
The Final Fantasy XIII European launch event, for which the game's producer Yoshinori Kitase is flying from Japan, will be hosted by well-known DJ and TV presenter Alex Zane.
The demand of the game is expected to be high in Europe - more so as the first-day sales of the game in Japan exceeded one million!
