BlackBerry Storm 2 All Set to be Released for Australian Market

Official announcements by Vodafone Hutchison Australia have confirmed that the BlackBerry Storm 2 will be available for the company's Vodafone and 3 customers on the $69 cap starting March 11, 2010.

Particularly aimed at the "global jet setter" market, the BlackBerry Storm 2 will be made available starting this Thursday. The smartphone boasts a 3.25-inch TFT LCD display, measurements of 112.5 x 62 x 13.9 mm and a weight of a mere 160 grams.

The phone has been equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HSDPA, a 3.2 MP camera, in addition to multimedia functionality.

RIM has claimed that the BlackBerry Storm 2 has been released after fixing many of the problems that the customers had revealed they had faced with regards to the original Storm.

The $69 Vodafone Cap is offered with unlimited Vodafone-to-Vodafone calls, $450 worth of calls and texts and 500MB of data or Unlimited Blackberry Email & Internet Browsing in addition 500MB.

The 3 Cap of $69 comes with unlimited network to network calls, $450 worth of calls and messages, News and Info or Sport from Planet 3 and 100MB of data of Unlimited Blackberry data + 100MB.
