The developers of the Final Fantasy XIII had thrown a launch party at the Regency Center.
With Yoichi Wada and Motomu Toriyama leading the event, Square Enix employees were seen in full force. It was a star studded night with Microsoft Group Director, Albert Panello, ESA President, Mike Gallagher, SCEA SVP, Rob Dwyer, Mark Cerny, Graeme Devine, Corrinne Yu, Chris Taylor, Feargus Urquhart, Playboy's Jo Garcia, Final Fantasy XIII Voice Actor's, Ali Hillis and Troy Baker, and many more.
Final Fantasy XIII has finally hit the stores. It enfolds a story of a group of characters, who save the city of Cocoon from its previous guardians, the fal'Cie.
It is said that some of the features of the game will be visible only after the players have logged on for a few hours. The visual details that come through in cut scenes are awesome.
The party kick-started with the red carpet, but the mob swiftly shifted to the event's main hall, where game stalls were lined up, flaunting cases full of FF13 collectibles and figurines, with character art decorating the walls.
The tables were also tagged with "XIII" on the tops. Square Enix also introduced an impressive FF13 trailer in 3D.
