South Australian Opposition Leader, Isobel Redmond has gone to Canberra with health and water concerns in her mind.
She is interested to meet Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, urging full details on the Federal Government's hospital funding plan and what would it hold for South Australians.
Ms. Redmond said that there will be a meeting at Parliament House but she is unsure if the Prime Minister will be there.
"I do know that Indonesian President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is in town today so the Prime Minister himself might not be available”, she said.
She also said that she intends to get facts and information from the officials and the Government about its projected takeover of the SA health system.
"Mike Rann needs to explain why he has agreed so quickly to such a complex proposal, when other premiers continue to hold grave concerns and are demanding answers".
However, Ms. Redmond was not able to meet with Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, Health Minister, Nicola Roxon and Water Minister, Penny Wong regarding health and water issues.
