The glimpse for the spectacular Case Mate Hug wireless iPhone charging system was shown back in January.
The Case-Mate Hug includes an aluminum-shaded, form-fitting iPhone case along with a charging pad, where the case is placed for charging using magnetic strips.
The device is posted to be entirely wire-less as the user must connect the charging pad to a standard AC power source.
The eco-aspect of the Hug includes its much hyped aspect that features "smart charge" technology i. e. it will only charge the phone's battery until its 100% full and then stopping the power transfer from the electric supply.
The new system is expected to be made available in mid-February for around $90.
The wireless charging system has only just gone on sale for a reportedly higher price tag though small than previously mentioned, $99.99.
Just like every other wireless charging solution, the case is pretty intrusive and I couldn't see myself sporting it 24/7.
