Men Have Longer Sexual Life Expectancy, British Researchers Reveal
Sexual Life

As has been reported by British researchers, men want sex as long as they are alive, thereby meaning that while women tend to have longer life spans, men are the ones who have longer sexual life expectancy.

The study has stressed that men are more likely to be interested in sex as compared to women, and this disparity between genders tends to grow with age. As was discovered by the researchers, the difference was the most among the 75 to 85 year age group, wherein 38.9% of the men were sexually active in that age group, as opposed to a mere 16.8% of the women.

The research has also hinted that a happy sex life can help people live longer.

"Overall, men were more likely than women to be sexually active, to report a good quality sex life, and to be interested and thinking about sex on a regular basis", lead researcher Stacy Tessler Lindau, Director of the Program in Integrative Sexual Medicine at the University of Chicago.

As per the study, by the time people hit the age of 55, men have about 15 years of sexual activity ahead of them, which contrasts with 10 years recorded for women.
