The health resources reported of Sara Dale, a palliative care nurse, employed by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Trust in the year 1998, to be involved in three relationships with the widowers who had arrived at the hospital to get their lady’s’ treatment done. The hospital authorities have sacked the nurse after the reporting of allegations and she would continue to be ‘disbadged’ until the allegations are proved false.
The matter will soon be transferred to The Nursing and Midwifery Council, the organization responsible for registration and regulation of nurses’ conduct, and soon the enquiry will be started to study the allegations for unprofessional behavior.
Dale told The Sun, "The person who wrote the letter is trying to suggest that I am a gold-digger. The allegations were that I'd had three relationships, but of those I have only had two”. She further added, “I am so distraught by what has happened. All I want to do is get on with my life. I won't go back to nursing".
One of the allegations struck at her included an affair with the man named Stephen with whom she was involved prior to his girlfriend’s death. It has been reported that she presently shares a home with him. Stephen shielded her by saying, “They are trying to make out this woman is a gold-digger but it is rubbish."I'm not a vulnerable person. She hasn't hoodwinked me".
