If, British newspapers are to be believed, Guy Ritchie, 40, is making the most of his new found freedom, often seen in the company of millionaire heiress Jemima Khan, even celebrating holidays with her.
 
The Telegraph reports, earlier this month, the two together attended a Notting Hill dinner party, given by PR big-wig Matthew Freud and wife, Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of media mogul Rupert Murdoch.  Trudie Styler, rock star Sting’s wife, who is said to have played matchmaker, introducing Ritchie and Madonna in 1999, also joined them at the dinner party.  Also at the dinner says The Daily Mail was Simon Cowell, the newly-single American Idol judge, who is another great admirer of the socialite heiress.
 
And, as the Mirror reports, last weekend the two attended an all-star Christmas party that included Mick Jagger, Lily Allen, Kevin Spacey and Stella and Mary McCartney.
 
Khan, 33, daughter of Lady Annabel Goldsmith and the late financier Sir James Goldsmith, was married former Pakistani cricket player Imran Khan in 1995, with whom she has two sons aged 12 and 9.  Following their 2004 divorce, Jemima was romantically linked with actor Hugh Grant, for a while.
 
If, the rumour is true, we hope it is, Guy Ritchie and Jemina Khan are the perfect match for each other.  Jemima, whose entire life has been lived in the shadow of powerful men, will have fewer power struggles to endure, like the ones Guy had with Madonna.  And, if Guy is fast enough, he can marry Jemima Khan, who is loaded, divorce her by Easter and probably get another pub out of the whole deal.
