Online Physician Visits will be Made Available by BlueCross BlueShield Insurance

Following the announcement of online visit of doctors for the members and employers by BlueCross BlueShield insurance organization, New York has lined up at fourth number in the queue of states offering this service.

One of the most prominent health insurers BlueCross BlueShield, insurers will be launching private online chat with webcams for video chatting, text messages and telephonic conversations. Rating facility for each virtual visit will be allowed the conversations will be made accessible from home, workplace where a connection for the computer is available.

This will be made possible by accessing BlueCross BlueShield's Web sites where doctors will be available online for any recommendation or instant treatments needed. It has been planned that Blue Cross' Online Care service will be made available in Western New York area and the northeastern areas are expected to be equipped with the service by this year's fourth quarter. Although available only for members this year, non-members and the uninsured can enjoy this service by second year launch.
