WA Children Wait for 16 Months for Health Services

A parliamentary report today revealed that the WA children had been waiting for the key public health services for more than 16 months. The report also mentioned that a couple of them need occupational therapy, physiotherapy and pediatric care.

The children will have to wait for another 3 months for the proper treatment.

Roger Cook, Labor's Health spokesman said that this delay has put on stake not only the safety of the patients but also the family budgets.

Janet Woollard, an independent MP heading the report, said that the implementation of the proper healthcare services over the next four years would come at a cost of $250 million.
