In an endeavor to help its partners and widen its reach, SAP Australia has launched its worldwide Extended Business Program into the local market.

The program lets a reseller or integrator partner to become a Master Value Added Reseller and construct a network of friends to supply extra potential as well as expand its geographic or vertical reach.

Extend Technologies, broad-based business applications provider, has been selected SAP's first Master VAR in the area.

Cian McLoughlin, the Seller'Senior Partner Sales Manager, said that the program is already a winner in Europe and parts of Asia.

McLoughlin said that the primary objective was to launch it locally and ensure that it was capable to support and improve the program before other Master VARs are appointed.

He said, "Down the track, we'll re-evaluate the potential for other Master VARs in other specific market areas. There's no expectation that our other partners will be required to be a part of this program".

It is offering mining, automotive, industrial and agricultural solutions.
