Mozilla Seeks Upgradation of Firefox 3

Since the release of Firefox 3.6 in January, over 100 million users have downloaded it. However, the users of its old version do not seem to have upgraded their browsers.

To instigate these users for the upgradation, Mozilla has planned to introduce and display an update version for the Firefox 3 users.

The update window will appear in the following three forms:"Ask Later", "No Thanks", or "Get the New Version".

If the user clicks on "Ask later", the window will be put off for 24 hours. If the user intends to navigate away from the window and upgrade later, then he can do so by clicking on the "Check for Updates" option on the help menu.

This window update will appear on the screens as a pop-up window and will appear every 60 seconds after the keyboard stillness.

Mozilla has predicted that there may be reluctance among the old users in upgrading as they are doubtful regarding the compatibility of the add-ons in the new version of Firefox.
