After a non-budding unexpected drought in 2010 model year, Chrysler is all set to launch new models for the 2011 model year. The 2010 model dearth was astonishing as this is not predicted at least for full-line automobile company like Chrysler.

It is expected that this new 2011 model year will come up with a new Grand Cherokee, a Fiat 500 and a revised Chrysler 300 towards the end of the year.

A winter program is being witnessed for the trails of its 4x4 models to be tested for performance in the unfavorable conditions at Canadian Forces Base Borden, near Barrie, Ontario.

In the program, the Canada's Sales and Incentive Manger Richard Cox sated, "The Journey, Jeeps, minivans and the Ram are mostly what we sell these days".

The introduction of four-wheel-drive from the military to the mainstream is something that Jeep feels very confident about. In 2010, Chrysler came up with Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Journey, patriot, Ram 1500 and Compass. Out of these, Wrangler's winter show was undoubted as it had "Trail Rated badge" proving that the vehicle is has met the required set line for ground clearance, traction and water fording plus articulation.

Almost 60% of listings of Chrysler offers "high-value low-cost" message for the Canadians.
