Plastic Logic’s Que E-reader Delayed until Summer

It was announced by Plastic Logic through an e-mail to its customers that the delivery of the Que will be delayed until summer. The Que e-reader will be aimed at business travelers who want to use the ultra-portable ways to carry documents.

The company's CEO Richard Archuleta said that its delivery is delayed because they need to fine-tune the device and improve the overall experience.

ts desired businessperson demographic makes it costlier as compared to the other e-readers, but the company says that it is charging an appropriate cost.

Steven Glass, Plastic Logic's Senior Director of technical marketing said, "It's a higher price point because it's a different demographic: customers who want to read business documents".

Glass added that Que is capable of many other things like adding comments, highlighting text and scribbling on documents with a fingertip as another competitive differentiator. The other manufacturers of are not doing the same. Que can sort through thousands of documents speedily.

One of the large companies that deal in the e-reader market is Amazon and Barnes & Noble and Apple's upcoming iPad includes strong e-book technology. Among other companies that debuted e-readers at CES included Skiff, a supplementary of publishing company Hearst, launched an e-reader with an 11.5-inch touch screen.
