The twitter maniacs can disclose their location to their tweets. This service was activated on Thursday as a new feature that adds geographical information of the users to their posts.

Twitter adds the user's location to his or her tweets as soon as he or she opts for the same.

Twitter Co-founder Biz Stone writes, "A recent burst of interest in location sharing applications, games, and services has many Twitter users excited about appending geographic data to some of their tweets".

This new facility of location sharing helps the user to know the important happenings and incidents of their particular locations.

If more users opt for location tweeting, then only it will prove effective. But, many of the twitter users do not want to reveal their location to their tweets. They believe that tweeting millions of strangers about their location goes against their survival instinct.

Though, all of the twitter users are still not ready to accept this new option, but a large number of users will take to location-sharing.

Facebook may develop the same feature in the near future.
