Toyota Faces another Rage – Orange County DA files Lawsuit

Toyota was criticized for their negligence and has recently recalled 3.8 million vehicles in the United States, to address problems causing accelerators to get stuck and lead to a crash. This move has led to different lawsuits against Toyota from its customers.

One of the lawsuits has been filed from a conventional county district attorney who alerts that the world's largest automaker has intentionally sold so many cars in the market though they were aware of the problem with a removable floor mat that could cause accidents.

Tony Rackauckas, Orange County District Attorney said, "We need to make sure that when Toyota says 'Oh, what a feeling' and 'Moving forward' that they are talking about great cars". The suit filed under the Unfair Business Practices Act, wants a fine of $2,500 per breach. Toyota is numb on the lawsuit filed and its spokesman, Mike Michels, did not have any justification for the same and no impulsive response.

Another Attorney General, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut said he is closely following Toyota's in response to the serious allegations and is also looking forward to hear from them with a reason to the three simultaneous crashes of Camry, a mid - size car in Connecticut. Mr. Blumenthal said that vehicle defects are not acceptable and curbing these defects plays is an important move to ensure public safety.
