Zenyatta Back On Track

Zenyatta is back into form for delivering the best of her performances, once again.

She managed to run at Santa Margarita by 1 1/4 lengths and winning $250,000, thereby reaching a top record of 15-0.

"Everybody's so pleased to have her back and to root for her, and when she wins, she makes everybody happy", said Co-Owner Jerry Moss.

Facing seven competitors, she made it to the victory, covering 1 1-8 miles.

Zenyatta and Rachel Alexandra would be competing in the April 9 face-off in Oaklawn Park. The owner of the park has claimed to pay $5 million purse to the mare and her filly.

In Saturday’s showdown, Zenyatta's style differed from her original and regular one. She apparently broke from the initial gate on her back feet.

Outdoing all the rivals Zenyatta ran around the victory belt in her signature style.

Mike Smith expressed his joy over Zenyatta’s victory saying that it has aroused enough enthusiasm within him to take up any other challenge.

Sheriff announced Zenyatta’s participation in Oaklawn’s face-off. He said that he is confident of another rocking performance by her.
