Geeks, The New Rock Stars at SXSW

This time, Geeks have managed to become the new rock stars at South by Southwest. No matter whether these people come to exhibit their latest digital creations or refresh their coding skills, the group of people who came down to attend the annual geek spring break (South by Southwest), gave vent to their feelings on Saturday night.

The South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conferences & Festivals offers a unique junction of original music, independent films and up-and-coming technologies. SXSW® is the premier destination for discovery as far as nurturing creative as well as professional growth is concerned. The event is working like a launching pad for new creative content every year. Austin serves as a perfect milieu for SXSW, whose relaxed environment is a boon for career development.

Bigg Digg Shindiggg, the CES 2010 Parties, increased the volume on the geekery. The tech guru Leo Laporte did live-streamed crowd-surfing and Digg detailed about its upcoming design.

Digg CEO Jay Adelson shared the site’s changes to the ones who attended the South by Southwest conference, in Austin, Texas, this Sunday. He added that the site is under progress for the last five years. It will be able to manage millions of submissions per day, rather than the thousands for which the site had been designed originally.
