Ford Unveils New Patrol Car

The Ford Crown Victoria police car, which has gained popularity in last three decades, will be pulled over.

Ford recently introduced its new police car on Friday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The new patrol car can simply jump curbs and is faster than Ford’s Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It will come with improved technology. It also features stab plates which will help protect the front seat passenger and driver.

Ford didn't unveil the cost of the car at the launching event. The Crown Victoria police car costs around $27,000.

"We hope that you will agree that Ford has succeeded in delivering the ultimate new police interceptor”, said Mark Fields, Ford’s President of the Americas, while introducing the new patrol car to a group of law enforcement officials.

Fields shared that the new patrol car is the single police car on the market that can survive a rear-end crash at 75 m. p. h. Also, space has been provided for police equipment in the car.

Ford also revealed that it will soon develop a new SUV police car and will announce further information regarding that car by the close of September.
