The Oologah community is praying for people suffering from meningitis.

Andrew Thomas, who is 7 years old, and Shuache Moua of 8 years old, have died due to deadly meningitis disease. Four other children were also admitted in the Children's Hospital at Saint Francis.

Andrew Thomas used to attend the youth class at the Oologah Assembly of God every Wednesday night. The pastors were shocked to know that Andrew has died.

"There's still a lot of shock. It's almost like, is this really happening or are we going to wake up from a bad dream”, said Debra Henry, Youth Pastor.

Henry's two daughters are also studying in the Oologah-Talala Lower Elementary School. Henry’s daughters have been given the antibiotics at the school's gym.

Around 100 people had attended Sunday services at Oologah Assembly of God where everyone prayed for the victims.

Worshippers revealed that they are praying for four children who are suffering from Meningococcal disease.

All the information regarding meningitis disease would be provided at the Oklahoma State Department of Health Web site and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
