Showing their concern for poor and to raise money for Youth Emergency Shelter Society, five students of University of Manitoba are going to experience what the less fortunate do every day. In a national campaign christened "Five Days For the Homeless", students will be sleeping on university grounds instead of the sleeping facilities, and will be giving up the security provided by the university enjoyed by them daily. Apart from this, they will be eating the stuff donated to them or the food earned by begging and will also attend the classes in day time.
In short, no food, no money, no security, no shower, with a compulsion of attending classes.
This campaign will initiate on Sunday and the routine will be followed for five continuous days. The Chairman of the campaign Nathan Petersen agreed that it would be difficult for the participating students as it'll push them out the comfort zones. He also said that many people will be ignorant of the fact that they were students.
The campaign aims at making people realize the amount of difficulty and the incensement of the hard time that troubles people with less or in fact no money.
