Google’s Street View; A Boon or A Bane?
Google Street View

The laymen of U. K. are a bit annoyed about the search engine giant not taking their prior permission before posting the pictures of their streets on the World Wide Web.

About 57% of the Britions call the service “invasive”, according to a poll conducted by discount website, myvouchercodes. co. uk. Hence, Google Street View plan is no less than a service that is provided free of cost to the burglars in the U. K.

Google has managed to add new imagery covering almost all of the UK's roads, including rural as well as urban. It has increased the availability of the Street View service in Google Maps.

Ed Parsons, Google's Geospatial Technologist, shared that Street View has taken mapping to an exalted level. About two thirds of people who have tried this service revealed that they would use Street View again.

Google has left no stone unturned to safeguard the privacy, while allowing the British users to get benefitted from this feature. It features a technology that blurs faces as well as car number plates, thereby maintaining the privacy.
