President Obama has been trying his best to push the health care reform bill forward and get it cleared as soon as possible. Now, he has put forward two new points to stress just how the overhaul would benefit the nation and its population.
The first point that has been highlighted by the President is that the health insurance companies now seem to have become greedy and are causing health care cost inflation, and the bill might just be the thing needed to curb these high rising costs.
The second reason why Mr. Obama thinks the bill should be passed as soon as possible is because the uninsured population of America seems to be putting off care and then getting it only in emergency care situations, and this just makes the whole process more expensive. Insuring the uninsured would thus save funds.
While the latest points are quite appealing, some feel that it is just another one of the President's "gimmicks" to take the focus off of some of the terrible failings of the bill.
The bill seeking a complete revamp of the country's healthcare insurance system has now been under fiery debate for quite some time. Up until sometime back, a positive decision on the same seemed imminent, but things changed and now the whole issue is under discussion and scrutiny once again.
