The probability of Google closing its China site Google. cn, in view of the rising hacking and censorship in the country, are now high, the analysts at Analysys International have expressed the fear of a heavy loss in terms of technological advantages. The move will turn down many important services like navigation on mobile phones, a free music that helps in fighting piracy, etc, ranging from advertising endorsement to online entertainment.
"If Google leaves, it's a lose-lose scenario, instead of Google loses and others gain", said Analyst Edward Yu.
The industry minister in China has been instigating the company to abide by the Chinese law. The laws seem to restrict Google from closing the website, which coves around 35% of the search engine in China.
China Mobile Ltd., which is largest phone company in the world, depends on Google for mobile search and maps.
Already, when the web users in China are denied an access to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and major blog-hosting services, Google's evasion would leave them completely deprived of online entertainment.
Because of the recent differences, Google has postponed the launch of its two new phones in China.
Analysts claim that the pullout is likely to affect the Chinese companies more intensely than Google, given its robust market value in the international economy.
