Specs of Acer's latest super skinny MacBook-type, Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T, which is expected to launch at the end of the month, have been leaked out much earlier by the Blog Macles.
Aspire TimelineX 1830T unifies both mobility and performance, it has an 11.6-inch 1366x768 display and is Acer's first Calpella-based ultraportable. It has a Core i5-520UM processor with a base clock speed of 1.06GHz and up to
1.86GHz with Turbo Boost. It's also said to have two memory slots.
Since it is a set up from the 1830T model, the reported new processor and an Intel Core i5-520UM, it is likely to bring better results than Atom based netbook rivals.
This super slim package not only covers the standard width of connectivity, complete with HDMI, SPDIF, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, optional Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and 3G, a multi-card reader, and three USB ports, but also provides battery backup of eight hours and carries a complete light weight design.
The launch dates and pricing for Aspire TimelineX 1830T is expected to be announced towards the end of March.
