Google has introduced a new server-tool known as Google Apps Migration for Microsoft® Exchange which will not only help transfer company e-mail, but it also has the ability to move calendar and contact information into a cloud. It will help move number of users at the same time without any hindrance while using Microsoft Exchange during the migration process.
The tool is free and available for Google Apps Premier and Education Edition customers. It works with both Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007, which is inclusive of on-premise and hosted Exchange.
The company last month introduces an online marketplace for Google Apps, which is inclusive of e-mail, calendar and Google Docs document, spreadsheet and presentation applications.
The Google Application Marketplace wants to include partners to create cloud-based applications that are strongly incorporated with Google Apps, and over 50 companies have already signed up. Google reveals that it will totally depend on partners to create business applications in areas where it lacks business expertise.
Google Apps Migration for Microsoft Exchange can lure users away from Microsoft.
