A 49 year old doctor, in Tennessee, Dr. Bruce Levy, has been charged for possessing marijuana by Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics. During the rounds of conducting investigation, the Bureau found a package of marijuana with his name on the pack and some more amount of drug in his hotel room where he works as a forensic examiner as well.
The medical examiner was taken into custody from Ridgeland hotel room, where he had stored the rest of the drugs. The team of investigators with the help of their dogs could reach the narcotics kept inside the room. More than an ounce of the drug was found under his possession, which is a crime.
Levy is President and CEO of Forensic Medical Management Services. As soon as Levy was found to be conducting the illegal act, his privileges had been suspended by the Public Safety Commissioner, Stephen Simpson.
No medical examination services are going to be interrupted though. The nine-member board-certified or board-eligible forensic pathologists are prepared to handle all of their client responsibilities.
Levy made an appearance on Wednesday morning but was later bailed on $25,000 bond.

It may be a setup
Dr. Levy is well-known and well-respected in the community. He has been working to reform a corrupt system in Mississippi for some time. It's quite the coincidence that this happened the day before the state legislature was to vote on reforms that he had been supporting. This may well be a setup.
