Negligent staff at Stockport Causes Schoolboy's Asthma Death

Due to lack of proper staff training, 11 year old Samuelton Linton from Stockport School lost his life from a severe asthma attack.

Reports say that there was no ambulance called by the staff, plus the boy was left only with his inhaler for several hours until his mother arrived. This has led parents all across to raise a demand for better first aid measures and improved staff training.

"Samuel was a wonderful son and his loss has been devastating", said Paul and Karen Linton, Samuel's parents.

The loss of Samuel Linton also affected Jonathan Betts, the family Lawyer who reflected that one of the major reasons for the child's death was the lack of communication between staff, lack of training and an absolute absence of common sense.

"We will be continuing our investigation into the way his asthma attack was handled at Offerton high school and will be considering launching proceedings against Stockport council", added Betts.

The incident has certainly evoked a lot of parents' minds to ensure better safety for their children at schools.
