A woman, who got infected with HIV because of her beastly former boyfriend Mark Devereaux, who intentionally exposed her to the disease, expressed her grave anger yesterday after he placed an appeal against his sentence, looking to cut-short his prison time.

"He is sitting in prison laughing at all of us and is not capable of admitting to himself that he did anything wrong. I don't think he will ever take the blame. Everything he said to me was lies. Even now I wonder if anything he said was true apart from his name", said the victim.

Mark Devereaux was found to be HIV-positive in 1994, but still continued to have unprotected sex with his four girlfriends. The said victim was found to be infected with HIV when she was expecting twins, while the other three women were not diagnosed with virus. She then had decided to abort her twin babies as she did not want her babies to suffer the same fate.

Callous Mark Devereaux, who is 41 years old, was jailed for 10 years for not disclosing his condition to his girlfriends, and his name had been registered in the sex offenders' register.
