ViewSonic has officially unveiled its two new ultraportables with an optical drive, the VNB141 and VNB132, both of which have managed to create much excitement and hype.
ViewSonic has been busy peddling HDTV, PC displays and digital pictures frames for many years now, and all across the globe. Over the past few months, however, the company has very quietly started to turn itself into a computer firm too, with new ultraportables which have started to come to light.
The VNB141 and VNB132 devices have been the very recent additions to the company's line of ultraportables.
The VNB141 is essentially a 14-inch ultraportable, which boasts an Intel ULV SU7300 Core 2 Duo processor. The machine is equipped with the Windows 7 Premium platform and 2GB of RAM. Storage is to a 250GB HDD and the device features in-built Wi-Fi, VGA out, HDMI out, in addition to a 1.3-MP webcam.
The smaller 13.3-inch VNB132, on the other hand, is equipped with the Intel ULV SU2300 Celeron processor, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 320GB HDD and a RAM of 2GB. The device is packed with Wi-Fi, three USB ports, VGA and HDMI out, memory card reader and much more.
