America and the world might be going through an economic crunch, with layoffs, cutbacks, bailouts and bankruptcies, but Jamie Spears has the securest job, managing talented daughter Britney Spears' career and life. Getting a raise for a job most fathers do for free, Jamie is now making $75 an hour to look after his own daughter.

According to People magazine, Jamie Spears, 56, who is being paid $10,000 since February for looking after daughter Britney, has just been given Papa a retroactive pay raise by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, raising Papa Spears' fee to $16,000 a month. And that's not all, he will also receive an additional $1,200 a month for 'office expenses', which is justified seeing Britney's personal and professional life is back on track.

Does one wonder why Britney, 27, feels like her father's personal trained monkey? With little chance of breaking out of this circus, she'll be singing and dancing till Daddy's in his grave. Not fair that a father should be paid to look after his own daughter!
