Official weekly data on jobless claims is still awaited, but economists are already almost completely sure that the figure would fall, and the total number would be lower than before. This prediction is definitely a result of a slowly healing job market, which had suffered real badly due to recession.
The fall in the number of jobless claims, a trend which is being viewed for quite sometime now, is just the respite needed to assure people that the situation is now slowly getting better. The job market had been really hurt during the global financial meltdown, and the rate of American unemployment had managed to hit a whopping 10% last year.
Since then, the country had been overly worried about how the economy would turn out, but these fears can now, it seems, be put to rest; somewhat, if not completely.
With the job market gaining stability back, one can be sure of the economy getting on its feet once again as well.
The job scenario of any country is a good indicator of the economic conditions, if one is good, the other is bound to be good, and as far as the job scenario of the US goes, things seem to be going well as of now. Companies have started hiring and creating jobs as well. A recent survey had revealed that since the start of the year, firms have intensified their hiring process, and more and more people are now finding employment.
The fall in jobless claims has come as music to the ears of everyone around, and we are definitely going to rejoice now!
