While President Obama did make a comment or two about how Tiger Woods had literally betrayed his family, with all the affairs and notorious activities, in a recent interview, he did seem to have made it quite clear that no matter what, his personal life and what he does there is not something that can ever change the fact that he was, is and always will be a "terrific" player.
Although Woods has had no private words with Obama yet, the President seems to believe that what the man did as far as his wife and affairs go is something that should not make people biased against him altogether. He is still the same Tiger Woods who played amazing golf and brought home many laurels. He actually put America more prominently on the map!
This is actually something we should all realize. There are two different Tiger Woods here - one is the frivolous, cheating and irresponsible one, who broke his wife's heart and trust and disgraced his marriage and family, all thanks to his numerous affairs and other acts, and then another is the man who always played well, was the face of some of the biggest and best-selling brands across the world and is still a much-better-than-most golfer. Now what he did in his personal life does not give us the right to belittle him.
While it is true that a man of his magnitude should have been more careful, we cannot forget that he is, after all, human, and that too someone who had publicly acknowledged his mistakes and pledged to be responsible in future.
Let's just give the poor guy a break, cut him some slack, and try and focus on the one thing he does best - play golf. His family and wife can handle the other troubles; we should just be concerned about the gaming bit, so let's try and enjoy that.

I am not against the Tiger
I am not against the Tiger Woods or what,I could say that they are indeed good players. They have something that is uncommon.Season 14 of South Park is going to start with a bang – they're taking aim at Tiger Woods. If there is one thing that we should all be grateful to South Park for,is that the oft maligned Comedy Central mainstay is the Great Equalizer – nothing and no one is safe from their satire.(No matter if everyone got no credit check payday loans,or whatever to pay them off.)If you make yourself a public figure, no matter how altruistic or holy you believe or purport yourself to be, you have put yourself in the public eye – and that makes you open to satire.
