High Chairs Associated to Risk of Falls Recalled Nationwide

The Graco Harmony High Chairs are being recalled voluntarily by the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Graco Children's Products Inc. collectively as it has been said that the chairs have a risk of loosening of the front screw causing instability in the chairs. It is being advised that the customers should stop using the same unless it is recommended. Graco is offering free repair kits to all the buyers of the high chair.

The high chairs, although not manufactured now, were sold almost 1.2 millions in count and were manufactured between November 2003 and December 2009.

Another disorder feared is the cracking of the plastic bracket on the rear legs and risk falling of children from the high chair. This recall is a result of 464 complains reported by the customers, among which, 24 resulted in injuries like hair line fractures in arms, and scratches on the head and other parts of the body.

This recall included all the high chairs with model numbers A, B, C D and also 1752404, 1755859, 1755860, 1757412, 1760429 and 1757259.

The recalled chairs were manufactured in US and were out on sale at many retailers in the nation including AAFES, Burlington Coat Factory, Toys "R" Us, Target, Walmart and USA Baby priced ranging $70 and $120.
