Women Keep Quiet about Their Sexual Conquests with Men: Survey

No more clichéd surveys. For a less boring survey, read on.

A Sex and The City-esque survey has revealed that though women are hugely open with the idea of sex on first date nowadays, they are far more discreet when it comes to sharing their escapades with their friends, unlike men.

The survey, commissioned by Bayer Healthcare, studied a thousand women aged between 20 and 40, and found that 39 % of them had done "it" by their third date. Of course, as it was just mentioned, they didn't talk about it to their friends.

Hold up. Third date? That's it? They also compiled a "First date" data. Phew!

11 per cent of women, the survey reveals, had slept with their first date, while 28 per cent controlled their emotions until the second or third date. Good kids.

One in three women, the poll results showed, already found a new sexual partner in a month's time. A further 13 per cent decided to wait up for three months for the next recruitment process.

According to Psychologist Dr. Linda Papadopoulos, the poll is a reflection of a modern but well-established trend in the sex life of a woman.

"The results may be surprising but we do have the highest teen pregnancy figures in Europe, so the idea that people are sleeping with each other sooner, and with people that they are not in long-term relationships with, is nothing new", she says.

"Sadly, neither is it a situation which is significantly improving", she quips.
