Notwithstanding the Commerce Commissions orders that compellingly removed its loyalty bid with Telecom Wholesale, Woosh, the wireless broadband service provider, has still succeeded in keeping its prices low for its Bundle of Joy home phones. The GM of Sales and Services Richard Fry stated that the new pricing was result of the pressure upon them.
Despite this removal resulting in scattered prices, it was disclosed by Fry that no differentiations exists on prices of the Bundle of Joy but the differentiations have been pushed to the data caps
Under this new plan, data caps of 3GB, 7GB, 30GB and 45GB will be offered, while the opponents of the company provide data caps of 1GB, 5GB and 10GB, said Fry, as according to a research by Woosh.
Having its wireless networks in Auckland, Southland Wellington and Christchurch, Woosh initiated its services in May after the proposal of Telecom Wholesale for loyalty discounts to ISPs, especially the ones inserting 90% of business with them.
Fry explained that although Woosh has been providing the customers residing in regional areas with about $15 lesser price than the opponents, Telecom Wholesale's loyalty discount's loss meant Woosh had to alter its non-regional pricing.
