The participants are all set to face the hardest ever challenge that will be put forth by the Benjamin Sheares Bridge in the initiated Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore. Termed "Preparation for Life", this campaign will include the triathletes who earlier completed the course. The participants admitted that the cycling after about 60 kms become a tougher task to handle and two climbs to the bridge by cycling is a challenge.

Triathletes who completed the course last year have indicated that the two climbs up the bridge during the cycling route are the toughest parts of the race.

The cycling routes that at East Coast Parkway towards Changi Airport can be difficult to tackle if the day turns windy which can in turn half the pace of the participant, said David Lim.

The most challenging route in the race is the 1.9-km swim, i. e., Telok Blangah viaduct towards the West Coast area. On the other hand, the 21.1-km flat and run route will be crossed under the mid-day sun with the heat and humidity making it harder after cycling.

Danny Searle, Chief Creative Officer at BBDO/Proximity Singapore said that it is quite similar to preparing for life in real and as the campaign demonstrates that "life goes beyond 70.3 miles".

For staying and winning the race, the most important thing required is preparation said Joanna Ash, Head of Brand and Marketing services at Aviva.
